Derek joins Diva Radio 'On Your Marks'

    Image description
Derek will be joining the team on the new online radio station - Diva Radio.
He'll be presenting 'On Your Marks', the station's breakfast show Monday to Friday from 7-11am.

Derek says "I was so pleased to be asked by my friends that run the station to join and I've loved what I've heard so far.  A lot of people think that it might be non-stop Kylie or Chaka Khan, but Diva means any music that is big or iconic.   I'm really looking forward to joining the team and playing loads of brilliant music.  The station isn't full of ads, news, sport and chatter - so it's the kind of listen that you can enjoy clutter-free everywhere'.

You can enjoy Diva Radio on smartphones via the app, or online via www.divaradio.co.uk

VICKI BROWNE - TJC's QUEEN OF SPARKLE

    Image description
    Hi all,
I know a lot of you are keen to know how our Queen of Sparkle is getting on. Well, just to let you know that I've been in touch.  As you may or may not know, she's currently undergoing treatment of a Grade 4 brain tumour - for a second time.  As you can imagine, this is going to be a tough journey for Vicki - but one I know that she is facing with amazing courage.  She sends her love, and thanks you for all the lovely messages that I have passed on to her from my Facebook and e-mails.

She has asked me to ask you to share the following link wherever you can to raise awareness of The Brain Tumour Charity and tell you more about brain tumours.  She tells me a little-known fact that the biggest killer of under 40's are brain tumours.  We have to get the message far and wide. Please follow this link > http://www.thebraintumourcharity.org/ and ask your friends and family to spread the word.

UPDATE 17th APRIL - here a new TJC blog post from Vicki http://blog.thejewellerychannel.tv/hello-vicki/
